Our Merry Christmas

30 Dec

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year!!! We had a good Christmas, however, we could have done without the stomach bug. Chris had it Christmas Eve and felt better by that night, Kyler became sick Christmas Eve night and was better by the morning, and I got it Christmas morning 😦 We all managed through it and still had a nice Christmas.

Christmas Eve night we baked cookies for Santa and watched the Grinch.

He ate them all!

Ready to go!

Someone’s excited!

Is this all for me???

Grandma, Poppa and Josh are here!

Opening her first gift.

Loves Mickey and Minnie

Girl loves her books!

Feeding her new baby

Enjoying her new chair and Leappad from Santa.

The aftermath.

Kyler got WAY too many presents but that’s okay 🙂 She is allowed to be spoiled. I can’t quite seem to figure out what her favorites are yet. She keeps bouncing around. She does love her VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Train Set.

Chris & I got a bunch of different goodies!!! Great Christmas indeed 🙂

Again, we hope you had a very Merry Christmas and that you have a great new year!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

29 Dec

I’m back from a little hiatus from blog land. Due to Christmas, I thought it was best just to skip last week so here we are.

Justin Timberlake was in the house on the 19th. I had to work and was quite busy that night but when I did get to stop and watch, it was a great show.

We spent some quality time with some of my besties ❤

and with adorable Greyson!

Kyler loves him!

We made Oreo Truffle Balls and Chocolate covered Peanut Butter Ritzs

Kyler and Daddy ❤

On Christmas Eve, we headed over to Grandma & Poppa’s house. Kyler got to open some presents early (those that were staying over there).

Merry Christmas!

Love this girl ❤

I got a new Keurig Espresso machine! I bought some syrups from Starbucks to make them taste just the same.

Skinny Vanilla Latte & Hot Apple Spice

Miss Diva in some of her new clothes and sunglasses.

Kyler got a train set for Christmas and so far, it’s a big hit!

Kyler bought Chris some Legos of his own so he can stop playing with hers. Needless to say, he was happy and put them together the next day.

Back to the Future Legos.

Kyler and her new baby. She is going to be a great big sister!

We had a Magic game this past Friday and Kyler came to visit. She had a BLAST! Only lasted to half-time though before she got really sleepy.

Happy girl.

Bad photo but I have a kid old enough to play on the big playground at the arena. So crazy!

My little bug!

Trying to get this girl to eat sometimes can be exhausting.

I should have given her a bunch of rocks for Christmas. She is beyond obsessed with them.

Now we are all caught up! Have a safe New Year’s Eve everyone!!!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

16 Dec

Nothing too crazy here on the home front. This past week was a week busy of Christmas shopping and work. We did have some fun this weekend!

We celebrated our friends Sara and Drew getting married this weekend!!

Congrats to the newlyweds!!

We also made and decorated Christmas cookies!

My sweet girl and her hugs ❤

Someone seemed a little more interested in eating the cookies….

That’s all I got! Only 9 days left until Christmas!!!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

8 Dec

Kyler loves her big girl bed!!

Also, there is a sneak peek of new new furniture 🙂

I found this goof ball just hanging out the other day. She is too much!

My mom “made” Chris take home my old lego set the other day. He and Kyler had a good time sorting through all of the pieces!

Meet Dolf, our new Christmas Elf! Yes, Dolf. Kyler named him herself. No clue where it came from but it stuck 🙂

We had a nice unexpected visitor on Thursday night. Thanks to the cold front that hit most of the ole USA, Grandpa’s flight get rerouted through Orlando. That meant he had a few hours to hang out in Orlando (which turned into a stay overnight!)

Kyler was SOOOO excited to see Grandpa or “PeePaw” as she kept calling him (never has called him that before but hey, she is trying something new). She was so sad when he had to leave the next day.

Her new “baby” is her dancing Christmas tree. We bought it last year and she loved it but she has really taken it to a new level. She hugs, kisses, talks, and of course sings with it.

Or did I mention that this girl has some serious moves???

We headed out to Downtown Disney this weekend for some shopping and family time. Kyler had a good time at the Lego shop.

Grandma bought her a new purse. DIVA.

Winnie the Pooh and the gang.

She loves the carousel

Being that it’s Florida… it was 86 degrees out this weekend. It seemed much hotter to best honest with you. The pool was still too cold for my taste so we decided to get the hot tub fired up (you know, to a nice warm 90 degrees) but we had a slight mishap (all good now). It didn’t seem to bother Kyler though since she just splashed away in the beach area.

Tonight was the perfect night for smores after shopping with my momma today 🙂

Yummy!!

We had a great week and are really getting into the Christmas spirit!!! Only 17 days left!!!

Happy Birthday to my brother Josh and my mom this week!!!! We love you!!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

1 Dec

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and great holiday weekend!

We had to make cupcakes for Thanksgiving so Kyler got in on the action!

We celebrated Thanksgiving at my aunt’s house. Our dinner table!

My cute little cousin Emma made these place cards for dinner.

This is what I am thankful for each and every second of every single day ❤

Kyler and her Uncle Josh!

We came home to this….. ugh these dogs drive me nuts sometimes!!

We enjoyed a nice fire on a really chilly Florida night with the Gilbertson’s. Our intention was to make smores but we were all stuffed!

Hard to see but the girls enjoyed a snack by the fireside

I just love having these big sliding doors at this time of the year!

We also put up most of the Christmas lights outside. Kyler was such a good helper!

I’m coming Daddy!

Kenley and fam was out for a walk. Kenley approved!

Just need to add a few more things and we are good to go!

I am feeling pretty accomplished too! I got a lot of Christmas shopping done and made some really good progress on Kyler’s 2nd birthday…. OMG she will be 2 in less than 2 months!! We had such an enjoyable holiday weekend! I hope you did too!
