Hudson turned 7 months old today!!
This kid is just so much fun. He is honestly one of the sweetest and happiest little guys I have ever met and I am not saying that because he is mine. He is happy go lucky and is content just playing with toys and smiling at people. Speaking of his toys, he is getting more and more active. He loves his toys now and his favorite is the Vtech Learn and Discover Driver. He also loves anything with sound and lights so we have plenty to keep him busy.
He is OBSESSED with jumping in the bouncer now too. He just sits there, laughs and just jumps away. Great for when we are getting dinner ready.
He is still a big and healthy boy! He is wearing mainly 12-18 month shirts and still in the 6-12 or 12 month pants. His feet are just silly big and is just about outgrown most of his 4 shoes and starting to wear some 5s. We threw through the size 3 diaper stage and had to move into 4s. The kid was having blowouts and coming home with new clothes every day thus the new size.
We dropped a bottle, however, we upped the ounces in the others so he is getting about the same. He definitely loves his solids so I think as he gets older he will start to cut more and more milk out. He is an early bird though. He wakes me up at 5am to eat so I am going to see if I can start pushing him back a half hour just to give me a break. At 6 months we started giving him 3 meals a day and he is doing great. For breakfast, it always consists of a fruit and grain and then gets his veggies for lunch and dinner. He is eating chicken and turkey but he isn’t the biggest fan. Now that he is eating so much, I am trying to make more food to save on some money. He is getting much better at puffs and the texture so I think we will try small cut up bananas with cheerio dust soon. I think he will love it!
He is getting SO close tor crawling. I think within the next couple of weeks he will get it. He is always practicing and you can tell he just wants to go. I can’t believe we will have a crawling baby again!
He is starting to babble more and more. He loves the D sounds so we constantly hear dada but that is about it. He still has that nice high pitch scream to him but it’s mainly when he is happy. He is laughing a lot more now, especially when we make funny sounds or tickle him.
Hudson, you are quite the charmer! Happy 7 months cutie!
We are looking forward to Halloween in this house!
She is looking forward to trick or treating with her best friend Kenley
Here is a baseball invitation I whipped up last month. The little guy I made this for had a former professional baseball player for a daddy so it was only fitting that it was the theme!
He has been doing this with his hands recently and I have no clue why. So funny!
Picked up these on sale this week for H!
Kyler headed to Grandma and Poppa’s Friday and stayed the night. They hit up Boo at the Zoo (Brevard Zoo)!
Saturday, we ran Hudson over to meet up with her and then Chris and I headed to Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. We haven’t had a night out, just the two of us, in I honestly don’t know how long!
The park was PACKED but we didn’t have anywhere else to be and didn’t have to stick to a schedule so we didn’t mind waiting in line and figuring out what to order next!
First stop was Puerto Rico for some Sangria and some rum drink for Chris
Then we back tracked to Scotland because we realized they had scotch and I wanted the scallops
Baby Scotch for him!
Flight of Beers in Belgium. I liked the cider the best! We also picked up a waffle with chocolate and could have eaten about 3 of those!
One of my favs was of course Poland. We picked up some piergoi’s and this yummy drink! It’s called a frozen szarlotka
Flight of Riesling in Germany! Chris picked up a brat here too.
We had to stop in Singapore and get a Singapore Sling and I wanted to try the mahi. Chris’ sister and her family live in Singapore so we felt like we should try some things out. Both were good!
Another Riesling and beer flight from the Farm Fresh Florida stand.
Last stop of the night… Desserts and Champagne!
Not pictured was stops in Canada (beer), France (yummy drink and food for both of us), America (beer and lobster alfredo-yummy), Italy (ravioli and cannoli), and Australia (great shrimp dish).
Today was a busy day! We rushed over to Merritt Island to pick up the kids then headed straight to Sanford to celebrate my friend Erika and her new baby on the way! This was no ordinary baby shower, this was more of a party! Kyler had fun in the bounce house!
Trying to take a picture of the 3 of them and this is how it turned out…..
This afternoon we attended a Fall festival at the church in Avalon Park
They had a little petting zoo so Kyler loved being able to touch the animals
Sweet little bunny!
If pigs could just stay this size, I am pretty sure I would have one
The girls got to hop on the train too
Sweet Hudson was there too!
Best picture I could get
Kyler got her face painted and opted for a butterfly
It was a whirlwind week and weekend and this will be another week just like it as well. I am looking forward to a much slower and relaxed November!
Fall is my favorite season. I know that may sound silly being that I live in Florida and our Falls aren’t really traditional, however, the weather is usually gorgeous and it brings boots, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and I love all those things.
