Hud the Stud is 18 months ago. Sometimes I feel like it’s crazy he is that old but then other times I feel like he is older than he is. He is still my big sweetie….only difference now is that he is a toddler and has a bit of a temper. He is still a happy little guy but he has a mischievous side for sure. He loves to test us by putting his foot in the bog bowl, climbing the stairs, or runs the opposite way. He loves his big sister but then at times he pulls her hair and tries to slap her in the face. So sweet.
He is talking more and more but he can still be hard to understand at times. He loves to say no, call the doggies, ask for applesauce and a bunch of other words that are pretty darn cute. He LOVES his songs and sings a long to a lot of them. Kid loves to dance too. He loves bananas, applesauce, Mickey, Jake, Elmo, throw the football, swim, the dogs, Kyler, dinosaurs, and blocks. He hates getting his diaper changed, clothes changed, veggies, dinner in general, and riding in his car seat. He is in swim lessons now and I can’t wait until he can swim on his own. He loves it so we desperately needed to get him in lessons! He is doing pretty good with it so far!
He had his 18 month check-up this week and was 26.4 pounds and 35.5 inches tall. We finally got rid of the paci and he has done pretty well without it. I can’t believe we waited so long because we said we wouldn’t let our 2nd kid have it past 1. Oops.
Hudson is all boy. He loves to climb, throw, pull, destroy and destruct. He gets into EVERYTHING and you have to watch him like a hawk. It’s so fun seeing the differences between him and Kyler. While they are a lot alike in some regards, they definitely have their differences. He loves Chris! Always looking for dada 🙂
Happy 18 months to our sweet Hud! He is so much fun and is at such a fun age!
2 weeks to catch up on!
Soccer is still in full swing!
After soccer, the kiddos were ready to go to Grandma and Poppa’s house
No kids meant date night for Chris and I
Unfortunately, I had a little case of the stomach bug or food poisoning so that ruined date night 😦 Just my luck.
We went and picked up our little Patriots and got home in time for the game
Selfies with Kyler
Hudson started swim lessons and is doing pretty good!
Kicking off my 6th season with the Magic! Heading to MagicU with my friend Ashley!
Kyler’s new thing is apparently taking selfies with my phone
Playtime with Crosby watching their favorite pal Mickey
Chris had class today so it was me and the kiddos. We hit up the park before our Publix run to get some energy out
Our Publix was renovated so we now have fresh soups and these amazing little chicken sandwiches. This will solve those times when I want Chick Fila and it’s a) closed because it’s Sunday or b) too lazy to drive that far.
We practiced swimming with Hud today and he had a blast!
We were in search for a new couch on Labor Day…. I really like one from West Elm but we decided to wait… anyone have a sectional from West Elm? Do you like it?
We have been eating much healthier lately. I made Chicken “Fettuccine Alfredo”. The fettuccine is zucchini and the alfredo is cauliflower sauce…. and it was AWESOME.
Work is so hectic and crazy right now but I love love love coming home to these 2 (Chris too 🙂 )
and so it begins…. homework!
My little soccer star! I had to work Saturday morning so I missed her game but Chris took great pictures. Kyler has never kicked the ball during a game. She usually pouts, whines, or just stands around. This is her 2nd game of this season and she actually ran after the ball the first game and kicked the ball during this game!
So happy ❤
Later that afternoon, we headed over to the island to celebrate our cousin Parks’ 12th birthday. Kyler just loves her cousins and has such a good time with them. Hudson is finally old enough to get in on the action too 🙂
We finished off the weekend with a trip to the mall at the Crayola Experience which made the kiddos happy!
My Knights were back on and Hudson learned out to say “Go Knights”… we lost… going to be a long season
We hit up Disney on Ice and Kyler and Hudson LOVED it… my kids definitely love to dance and sing along so it was a bit hit with them
The whole gang!
I bought a spiralizer and made zucchini noddles for the first time. I loved it! I don’t really LOVE my spiralizer so I think I will get a new one and not go so cheap 🙂
These 2 ❤
My mini <3<3
Maybe my new go to at Tijuna Flats? The rice bowl (not the same as the noritto bowl)
It’s all things Star Wars at Target right now which meant Chris got the movies in Blu Ray and picked up Mr. Potato Head for Hud
Round 2 of zucchini noddles! This time Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo…. except no pasta and the “alfredo” sauce is cauliflower alfredo sauce
It was a nice, relaxing weekend with the family and we are ready for the week!
