Funny man sleeps in the weirdest spots

Quick Disney trip for work!

Hudson loves to dance…. one of my favorite videos of him!

I was able to get Fastpasses for the new Frozen ride at EPCOT so we braved the heat and headed out. Checking out Nemo and Dory

They have never met Joy and Sadness before. Sadness was pointing out that Kyler had purple glasses on just like her ❤

Since it was so hot out, it was the perfect day for meet and greets.

The line for Anna and Elsa was 15 minutes and we had exactly 15 minutes to kill before our Fastpass so that worked out!

Spinning with Anna

The new ride was super cute and the kids loved it!!!

Why yes, it did feel like 114 out. No more Disney this summer!

Saturday night out at the Melting Pot with some of my favorites

Kendra and I went to Lucky’s Market that just opened up on our side of town. I didn’t know what to expect but it was awesome!

Big Foot!

Playroom shenanigans

He has been doing this with his hands recently and I have no clue why. So funny!

Picked up these on sale this week for H!

Kyler headed to Grandma and Poppa’s Friday and stayed the night. They hit up Boo at the Zoo (Brevard Zoo)!

Saturday, we ran Hudson over to meet up with her and then Chris and I headed to Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. We haven’t had a night out, just the two of us, in I honestly don’t know how long!

The park was PACKED but we didn’t have anywhere else to be and didn’t have to stick to a schedule so we didn’t mind waiting in line and figuring out what to order next!

First stop was Puerto Rico for some Sangria and some rum drink for Chris

Then we back tracked to Scotland because we realized they had scotch and I wanted the scallops

Baby Scotch for him!

Flight of Beers in Belgium. I liked the cider the best! We also picked up a waffle with chocolate and could have eaten about 3 of those!

Date night!

One of my favs was of course Poland. We picked up some piergoi’s and this yummy drink! It’s called a frozen szarlotka

Flight of Riesling in Germany! Chris picked up a brat here too.

We had to stop in Singapore and get a Singapore Sling and I wanted to try the mahi. Chris’ sister and her family live in Singapore so we felt like we should try some things out. Both were good!

Another Riesling and beer flight from the Farm Fresh Florida stand.

Last stop of the night… Desserts and Champagne!

Cheers!

Not pictured was stops in Canada (beer), France (yummy drink and food for both of us), America (beer and lobster alfredo-yummy), Italy (ravioli and cannoli), and Australia (great shrimp dish).

Today was a busy day! We rushed over to Merritt Island to pick up the kids then headed straight to Sanford to celebrate my friend Erika and her new baby on the way! This was no ordinary baby shower, this was more of a party! Kyler had fun in the bounce house!

Trying to take a picture of the 3 of them and this is how it turned out…..

This afternoon we attended a Fall festival at the church in Avalon Park

They had a little petting zoo so Kyler loved being able to touch the animals

Sweet little bunny!

If pigs could just stay this size, I am pretty sure I would have one

Hey Goat!

The girls got to hop on the train too

Sweet Hudson was there too!

Best picture I could get

Kyler got her face painted and opted for a butterfly

It was a whirlwind week and weekend and this will be another week just like it as well. I am looking forward to a much slower and relaxed November!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

8 Jun

We have had quite the busy week here. Chris’s family came into town on Sunday night and left this morning.

As you recall, we hit up Magic Kingdom last Sunday. After we left the park, we headed to the airport and picked up Nana and Peepaw (Chris’s parents). The view from their hotel room. Disney Fireworks!

The next day we hit up Downtown Disney. Chris’s sister and our nephew (Matt, he is 4.5 years old) are visiting from Singapore and just got in from there at 11pm the night before so it was a nice easy day.

As you will see below, they were best buds for the week.

Kyler got a lot of swimming in this week

The next day, we hit up Animal Kingdom.

The safari. It may not be the real deal but it was still fun!

We then hopped over to Epcot in the late afternoon to stroll around. Found these little cuties walking through America.

We got dinner in Germany at the Oktoberfest restaurant. The kids loved dancing to the band.

We stayed for the fireworks and were out of the park  just before 10pm. 12 hour day at Disney and 13+ miles later made for 2 VERY tired little kiddos.

Running errands before the kids bapstim, ALONE.  All of the parents out there know how amazing it truly is. Pure bliss.

Kyler and Hudson were baptized this week. More on this later.

Baller status

We made it to Dunkin Donuts for National Donut Day.

Hudson got to hang with his buddy Crosby this week.

Everybody swarm Hudson!

Enjoying in the Orlando Science Center

Just jammin’ out on the way home from dinner….. She’s so fancy

Hudson looks terrified

Goofballs

Today was a lazy day full of errands and play time. Ammo and Kyler snuggling ❤

He is sure big enough for it but I don’t think he is strong enough yet. Will visit this in a few weeks 🙂

Sums up our day ❤

Welp, today was my last day of maternity leave 😦 I am so so so sad that I have to leave my sweet boy tomorrow and head back to the real world. At least I am going back to a place full of great people and good times. He will be with my mom this week so that makes it a lot easier as well. Off to get my bags ready for… WORK! Haven’t said that in a while! Catch ya on the flip side!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

26 May

What a long week (lots of photos this week too)! Chris and I were busy busy trying to get the outdoor kitchen finished for the holiday weekend.

I Chris started tiling on Monday. Messy!

I joined in on the action Tuesday. Took 4 nights to get the beast done (remember we have 2 kids to feed, bathe, and get ready for bed)!

Love lilies!!

I hadn’t gone through our wedding book for a while and happened to glance through it the other day. Although this makes me sad it also brought a smile to my face 🙂

This big boy had his 2 month check-up this week. More to come on that visit on his 2 month post. Let’ just say, he is growing quickly!

Kyler wanted to be apart of Hudson’s 8 week photos

Love this smiley face 🙂

Just love him!

For Easter, Kyler got a new pool towel. I really wanted to get Hudson one as well but the one I wanted was sold out. Well PBK got them back in and I love it! It’s the Octopus Mini towel and it’s perfect!

Kyler’s school pictures!

Hudson and I hit up BJ’s for some party supplies. Poor guy got buried!

We hung the lights at 10:30pm and stocked the fridge for the next day! Not like cutting it close 🙂

We threw our first pool party this Memorial Day Weekend! It was 95 degrees out so it was a great day to be in the pool. My best girlfriends and their families came over and it was perfect! It was fun to think about where we were 10 years ago (lounging around a college apartment pool) to where we are now, laying around with our husbands and kiddos. Much different but still a blast! I am so fortunate to have such a close group of friends. We don’t get to spend as much time together anymore now that we have our own lives to live so I am so happy they were able to make it out!

Fun with Poppa

I made Peach Sangria!!

I used the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction but made some tweaks to it to make it a peach sangria instead. She calls for OJ but I opted for Peach Nectar. I think I bought the wrong Champagne (made it a bit too dry) so I ended up adding some sugar and peach schnapps to sweeten it up. It was yummy! Perfect for a HOT day!

Firing up the grill for the first time!!

Can’t forget about the drinks!

Our spread

Kyler and Greyson enjoying some snacks together

Besties ❤

We hit up our favorite breakfast place, Keke’s, Sunday morning. I love their apple cinnamon French Toast! Yum 🙂

Kyler enjoyed some pancakes and fruit

Daddy and Hudson enjoyed their pancake as well 😉

Helping Chris carry Hudson to the car ❤

My precious family ❤

We hit up Epcot later that day. Kyler rocked the ole Red, White and Blue!

This little guy rode around in style too 🙂

Checking out Nemo

This Memorial Day we had the Gilbertson’s over for some steaks and corn on the cob. We are loving our new grill!

My Cutie on Duty!!

My fishy

I can’t wait to put the finishing touches on the kitchen and share it with you!!! Here is a sneak peak 🙂

I hope everyone had a great and safe Memorial Day Weekend!!!! Thank you to all of you that have served and those of you that continue to serve. USA all the way baby!
