Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

11 Jan

The temps dropped enough to breakout the peacoats and boots one morning!

Nothing better then snuggles in bed 🙂

We were able to sneak out of the house Friday night (thanks to my awesome parents) and head to dinner for a friend’s birthday.

We had to clear out the playroom because we have new flooring being installed tomorrow. This one was a bit concerned as to what we were doing with her stuff.

Our Patriots were able to pull out a V this week! (what a stressful game). Our little Brady was cheering them on!

Chilly nights = smores in our house!

Such. A. Mess.

I have decided to start meal planning and preparing as much as I can on Sundays as possible. This meant cooking breakfasts up for the week and getting lunch ready for tomorrow. We have been working out for one week and have been cutting a lot of the processed foods out for the most part. We aren’t ready to go too crazy but trying to stick to a healthy plan for as many meals as possible is a good start! Here is to making some changes that will stick!

Family bike ride up the street to get some Frozen Yogurt! So proud of Kyler, it was 2.5 miles round trip and she did great!

Looking forward to our new floors being installed this week! There will be plenty of upcoming posts about that 🙂 Happy Sunday!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

9 Feb

We started off the week on quite the lazy front. We were still tired from the birthday party the weekend before and Chris’s parents had traveled back home.

I did get to see Hudson this week which is always fun 🙂

I have been measuring a week or two ahead this pregnancy and they decided to order me an ultrasound just to see how big this little guy is. I was 32 weeks on Friday and he was was measuring at 34 weeks. Not really sure if that even matters but it should be interesting to see what the doctor says!

We also started/completed Hudson’s Plank Wall.

More pictures to come!

We had some of this yummy goodness this week 🙂

Kyler enjoyed it too.

Shopping at Lowes!

After a long and busy weekend, here’s to what is hopefully a nice week. Next weekend we are on Potty Training Bootcamp (aka lock yourself inside the house and try and train a 2 year to use the potty). Wish us luck!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

13 Oct

Kyler has been a big Daddy fan this week. She has this book called “I love you Daddy” that she always has him read to her. So sweet ❤

My bestie Jenn and her sweet little man came out to Orlando to visit us. Greyson is 10 weeks old and is such a good baby!!

After dinner, we rode our bikes up to get some Sweet Frog frozen yogurt 🙂

Yummy!

Grandma bought new shoes for her… too cute! This kid is WAY trendier than her momma.

This morning, we went out to breakfast at our favorite place Keke’s with the Gilbertson’s.

After breakfast, we went to the pumpkin patch!

It is really a horse farm so of course Kyler was more interested in that.

Kyler and Kenley!

When did they get so big?!

Best buds!

So this was the girls for Halloween 2012…..

And this is now….

SOOO crazy to see how much they have changed in one year!

The Jenkinson’s (all FOUR of us)

Kyler Bug!

Thanks Kendra for taking the photos!!!

Daddys’ girls

This face melts my heart ❤

Color time!

Time to root for the Patriots!

Having fun with Daddy-O

Pats won in the last minute so Chris and Kyler ran around the house screaming. And so it begins…

We had such a nice family weekend and that always makes Mondays that much harder. Kyler has her last big test with swim lessons tomorrow…. she goes in the water dressed in winter clothes! She will nail the test, I’m sure! She is turning into a little fish!

Have a great week!

Weekend Update with The Jenkinsons

14 Jul

I am back!!! I know I took a week off but a) I warned you and b) I don’t care because my butt was on a beach!

Kyler loves a good game of peek-a-boo

Before the holiday, a few of our friends came over for dinner & wine.

We celebrated the 4th of July downtown Avalon Park. We walked around with The Gilbertson’s then hit Sweet Frog for some frozen yogurt.

The next morning, we were on our way to the airport to spend a week in the Turks and Caicos!!!

More to come on this trip later….

Kyler missed her toys.

When we left, our backyard looked like this…..

When we got home, it looked like this!

I will post a separate post on the trip later! Hope everyone had a great week!
